The North Little Rock Police Department has 193 sworn officer positions. It takes a special person to fill one of these positions and few who aspire will ever wear the badge. Less than 10% of those who apply will be offered a place on our team. We are a police department that sets the standard and still insists on constantly making ourselves better. Testing for police officer positions is scheduled twice a year for persons who have completed a police officer application package. Application packages can be obtained from the North Little Rock Personnel Department or from the police recruiter, Officer Carmen Green. Testing candidates will receive written notice of the date, time and location of the test from the Personnel Department. Civilian employee job openings for the police department will be listed and filled as needed by the Personnel Department.
